The BBC have caused an absolute outrage by declining to appeal for aid for the people of Gaza saying that it may cause bias in the feud between Israel and Palestine! How can they say such things when over 1300 have been massacred and killed and only a very few Israelis have been killed and injured! This is absolute hypocrisy when they appeal for aid during many conflicts and atrocities around the world but why not Gaza? Are the people of Gaza less human than the people in those countries? This is a terrible and heartless decision based on pressure from Israel on the BBC and the west not to help the people of Gaza! This decision will cost MANY lives and it is vital that we do something about it and we should complain to the BBC for this outrage and apply as much pressure on therm as we can so that they give in and appeal for aid to Gaza! Over 1300 people have died and more will die unless something is done! We have got to do something about this outrage and put massive pressure on the BBC!

The BBC is thought of as the benchmark for accuracy and impartiality by the public. I always wonder why, because its bias and propoganda are so very obvious to me and you can see them trying so hard to maintain this facade. They “try” to present both views but skew so much towards the zionists and make out the Israelis are suffering intolerably. It was stomach-churning to see Anne Robinson cut off the Sikh guy mid-sentence as he was recounting what horrors and war crimes the Gazans were enduring, to tell a sob story about a friend of hers whose young adult reservist son and daughter had been called up and how this was so heart-breaking. Well in the whole conflict only ten Israelis dies - 10 soldiers and out of the three civilians, at least two if not all were Arab Israelis - construction workers near the “border”. All Andrew Marr could do was nod and commiserate with her about her poor friend’s poor grown-up children (who in reality would probably be armed to the hilt and most likely wouldn’t even suffer a scratch - that is if they did somehow see combat). Well, it was 2 against one and the Sikh guy was forced to shut up as they moved onto the next story in the papers without further ado, with the lingering message sent out to the viewers about how terrible it is for the Israelis to send their brave sons and daughters to face the savages. (Phew! Rant over)
Inshallah, the BBC will be shamed into airing the appeal especially since the other channels (ITV, Channel 4 and Five) have now agreed to show it but if the BBC also agree then it would ensure MILLIONS of pounds going to Gaza!

A national appeal from the DEC would normally raise about £10 million, but without the broadcasts the total is certain to be lower. So please complain against the BBC for this outrage! Because we all have a heart so why not help the helpless because if we were in their situation would’nt we need help?

No doubt about it but i think its best if you read into the history of this conflict! Israel have driven the Palestinians off their land since the 1960’s and now they only have a small strip of land on the coast called Gaza! They have broken more UN resolutions than anyone else in the world but of course the UN are helpless to stop them because they have the backing of America and Britian because they are in an alliance!They have caused MANY atrocities since the 60’s and they ONLY hate Hammas because they are the only ones willing to put up a fight in order to defend their land! No one else is willing to do that! Then the world asked for a democratically elected party in Palestine and guess who most of the Palestians voted for? Hamas! So their a democratically elected party! But obviously Israel still would’nt accept this!

I think some people have no understanding of the British broad casting system or its history. The reason for the complaint is because previously the BBC has broadcast appeals for dictatorships, countries which flout human rights etc but is refusing to do so now. This appeal is in no way balming Israel or Palestinians but is based on humanitarian grounds. I think from the bbc refusing to show the appeal has been an advantage. As it has turned the story into a very big headline and thus it has been covered in the news so much, inshallah the word of the appeal will spread more than it would have before as i see it in the news and newspapers everywhere.
Why does everyone have to involve the ummah poltics etc in everything. This is just about helping people. At the end of the day this duna is nothing and you alone will be standing infront of Allah swt. Just make sure you do the right thing because judgment will be passed on you alone and will not involve the actions of others.
