just heard on Geo news that the B@#$* has struck again…
during a trip to India she said she wants Dubya to enforce democracy in Pakistan like he did in Afghanistan and Iraq…
now what would anyone have to say about her mental aptitude, patriotism, criteria, reason for being in politics, power etc…?
what able minded Pakistani who wants good for Pakistan would ever say that…? the only force making anyone say that would be self-interest, deisre for power and nothing else…it’s just a ball game for these ppl. she wants the ball now, and wants anyone at all to bully/ referee do whatever but get her the ball…

How can you criticse anybody for their relationship with Bush, when you consider how much Musharraf has done for Bush and his Army/agencies? He was right to side with US after 9/11, but he has gone past just supporting US, and hasvirtually turned the whole country over to America!

regardless of how much Mush has bent for the americans, it's his govt for the first time in history that has the nerve to clearly condemn the actions the Bush admin has taken in Iraq and Afghanistan. right after the news item on GEO mentioned above, the same bulletin showed a press statement issued by Info Minister Shaikh Rasheed criticizing the comments made by BB and said in clear words to the effect; 'what does benazir want, bombings in pakistan like in iraq or afghanisitan? everyone knows what kind of democracy there is in those coutries gifted by the US...today pakistan has more deomcracy than it ever had in her or any other adminitrations time...' and it is true. could anyone imagine mian saab or bb to have so openly condemned the US like this? if Mush bends he also has the nerve to condemn what they do wrong...
and democracy...well, its become more of a slogan than what it shold have been...at the ground level what matters is that under this so called 'dictator' the common man has more rights, more security, more reason to be proud as a Pakistani, more respect and more access to facilities and more cooperation from various departments than it ever was in the so called 'democratic times' of bb and mian saab...

Common man has more?! Those living under te poverty line has increased every year Musharraf has come into power. Some macroeconomic indicators have done well on paper because of US support. Once US suport goes, its back to the brink of bankruptcy. LAw and order, inflation, i could go on about how things have gotten worse!
If you recall a few months ago, the news were filld with Mush talking about a national debate to recognise Israel. Please do not talk about BB or others kissing US but to get into power when this is EXACTLY what Mush is doing. Word mean little, his actions are what count.
P.S.Mush govt is hardly the only one to issue statments proclaimaing a ‘diasgreement’ with US policies.Like i said look at actions, not words.

i think mushy should owtlaw mma, recognize israel, declare pakistan to be 53rd state of usa and declare the islamic republic of pakistan into just a republic of pakistan!
