Things seems to have come full circle again... Suppress liberal and secular groups and you have the danger of religous fantics taking over.. I sincerely hope the govt has understood the danger of courting the religous parties at the expense of all other major opposition.

Yup, Quaid-e-Azam and the creators of Pakistan did not want a theocratic state at all. I think the Quaid also told the maulvi's to keep their preaching upto the majid doors, and no further?
