You should. 9 yr is long wait. You may not get chance for a while again. :D

Yesterday was a great day for So Cal. Both games were crazy and intense. I'm happy to see both the Angels and Dodgers make the playoffs. Congrats to both of them; and hopefully both teams will make it to the World Series, as I have said initially.

THINK BLUE - This was 53rd come from behind win of the season by the Dodgers, setting up a new franchise record held by 1953 Brooklyn Dodgers.

True..They had amazing run. 7-0 in last seven matches. They are going into Play off as hot as it gets. Watch out !!!

The Wild Cards ended up winning the World Series, the last two years (Angels and Marlins). Lets see if BoSox or Astros carry on the tradition.

Where is Pir Sahib, I will like to see him put up excuses about his loveable losers, a.k.a Cubs. What a job of choking under pressure... that is what you get for hiring tooth pick wielding manager who was fired from San Fran.

Faisal, i told you....Giants are not going to make it. Its going to be one more year before San Fran really gets their team back...i.e. when that roid fed monster retires or breaks Hank Arron's record. He will never get his ring...that will be so sweet just like the mailman. :)

lol - Twins had the chance to avoid Yankees in the first round and they blew it by losing to the Tribe.

Yankees vs. Twins: Yankees in 4 else if Santana gets 2 wins - that will be a upset. in all seriousness - Twins don’t have a chance.

Redsox vs. Angels: i think the winner of this series is going to win it all - regardless of who comes out on top between these two - with that said - Anaheim is playing extremely well - and Colon is finally pitching like the ace he was supposed to be - i think the Guillen suspension has been a total blessing in disguise for them - its either Sox or Angels in 5.

Dodgers vs. Cardinals: easy - Cards in 4 - they dominated the season like no one has - i don’t see a reason why they can’t beat the Dodgers in the postseason - however this series we will see more infield defence than outfield.

Astros vs. Braves: i will take Astros in 4 since Roger and Roy will pitch both games at Atlanta - how Braves are going to respond is remain to be seen - all Astros need to do is to score early runs - give a lead to Lidge who has proven he can be very effective pitching 2 innings if needed as a closer.

That is what I am talking about. Welcome to the dark side, my friend. It is really amazing, honestly I did not think that Astros had it in them to accomplish this (see my thread Letter to Drayton Mclane). I am happy for these players for showing the guts and desire to compete. I know its not over yet ,fat lady is not singing ...but Cubs fan she is on the podium and she just picked up the microphone....Billy the Goat lives. :)

Talha bhaijaan, one correction, Astros manager's name is Phil Garner.
[/QUOTE]

my apologies on Phil's name.

well - i don't think we have been cursed cuz i don't live in the 15th century - however i admit there was a lack of effort by the team - and they chose the wrong time to do it - Cubs had the card and they unfolded it.

plus Cubs don't have a high payroll as other franchise like Astros, Yankees, Sox have had - we are getting all the pieces together - one by one - Jim Hendry has been a blessing as a GM - we'll wait one more year - enjoy the postseason. :p

What great timing for Clemens' upset stomach too. AStros win Sunday without Roger. Now, we get Clemens starting on Wednesday and Oswalt on Thursday. ** Could this really be the year we beat the Braves in the Playoffs? ** Be still my heart.

Very much possible. :)

Well anyway, so now the Giants are out, the A's are out... and therefore, I can follow the post-season with no sar-dardi. :D

Good job Astros and Yankees and BoSox and whoever else is in the running now. May the best team win the WS.

No Sardardi.. This is nice way of putting down your disappointment. :p

There is no fun watching if you aint supporting any.Pick one !!!

Ofcourse, I am disappointed, but thats another story. I always tend to support the under-dogs.. so BoSox gets my nod. Those guys deserve to win something... its just been too long for them :-D

Since when did BoSox become the underdogs??
They have more wins than any other team in the playoffs besides Cardinals and yankees.
But your right.... Its time to cowboy up now! We'll show anaheim how its done in the east.

I am talking about actually winning the World Series. When did they last win the damn thing?

MV, here is my prediction/dream.

Game 1: Astros win 4-1 Clemens goes 8 innings
Game 2: Astros win 6-4 Oswalt pitches 7 innings
game 3: Astros win 5-4 Backe pitches solid 6 innings and drives in a couple.

Now only if this would happen. Its about time we embarassed the Braves.

^Only in your dreams bubba, Braves have been division champs for the last 10 years. I don't think they'll go down that easily.

But believe me they will go down 3-1 or 3-2

PS: I also predicted that Giants & As will go to Playoff . :(
