The banning of the message?

Re: The banning of the message?

its the law dd..in pak the system is such that you need a unanimous resolution for it have any binding effect..but media in any case is not under the control of the NWFP government.

Re: The banning of the message?

Where do you see ‘progress’ in making such a movie?

Re: The banning of the message?

I commend NWFP assembly for a great decision they took or talked about this ‘khel tamasha’. Religion is not ‘entertainment’ my dear.

Tell me what’s wrong with the decision so we can talk more. Laws are not above the religious values remind you.

Would you care to tell who benefits with making such movies?

Documentary or other movies are fine but showing religious figures serves no purpose whatsoever to ‘promote’ islam.

How many people converted to islam seeing that movie?
Or how many muslims had their believes strenghtened by watching that movie?

None, Zit, Zero, nishtaa! Yes some people did get richer on the other hand…at the expense of spoiling people’s ‘imaginations’.

Would you like to picture image of the actor (Omer shareef or anyone else) when thinking of those great Sahabas (RA)?

Is that not a fictitious and few people’s ‘imagination’ controlling minds of others and making them believe what was not the ‘fact’.

There is always a chance to spread wrong ideas (and with strength of ‘picture’ and ‘sound’) into the minds of movie watchers, believe it or not.

Why should one spoil one’s imagination of the great people by watching these kind of movies?

One has to think of psychologic impact of these kind of movies.

There are many people who believe what they seen in movies or TV etc. the way they are shown, I am not going to name those…

Having said that, (I repeat) documentary or informative movies about the religion are quite alright in my opinion.
