I bought the DVD set yesterday. Have a nice little library of horror DVDs going in my family room…hehe. Have seen BWP 1 (it’s pretty decent) but had never seen BWP 2 until last night (part 2 is corny as hell). Has anyone seen the 2 films? If so, what is your impression of them (other than bad acting)?
I thought the first one was ace, not seen the second one and probs won't either.
Blair Witch project was orignal idea and was stunnig. When i saw it first it had a little documenrty of about 15 min before the last 10 min of movie and it was so wierd that i had to remind myself that it is just a movie nothing more:eek:

BWP1 was a one of its kind production. It has confused me ever sionce it was released. it's established now that it was JUST a movie, but back when it was breaking barriers in the box office the publicity had created an impression that it was all true and that very impresion made it a success. If you watch it knowing it's all made up it appears to be a piece of crap, but if you watch it with the thought in your mind that all this really happened you get freaked out real bad(when i watched it i had thought it all to be true). Maybe thats the reason people who watched it soon after its release liked it and most who watch it now yrs later when everyone knows its all fake find it boring.
I wonder why no one raised a voice against false publicity...? there was a website too with all the details claiming the authenticity of the events and video, i wonder what happened to it...
BWP2 was ok, but was very diff from the first one and didnt capture the same audience as BWP1, probably because there was no false publicity the second time.
BWP 2 was plain bad, Haris. Let’s face it, the acting sucked like no joke, the sets were incredibly unimpressive, and the storyline…wait, what storyline?!
