Sorry folks, heres another story I just have to share.
My 5 yr old had a playdate today. When I picked him up, I let the younger 2 come in with me and we all saw the playdate’s 14 month old girl. All 3 boys were awestruck, even the youngest who ran over to her saying “Hi baby girl!”
On the way home, the 4 yr old asks 5yr old "So where did your friend get the baby girl?
5 yr old: At the BABY store (like "you idiot)
4 yr old: Mama?
Mama: Yes son?
4 yr old: Can we go to the baby store?
mama: Why? what do you want to get at the baby store?
5 yr old: A baby!!
mama: a girl baby or a boy baby?
All 3 boys::: A GIRL baby!
mama: well I think we should ask Daddy about that one…cause why?
4 yr old: Cause Dada is the decider (something I tell him alot)
4 yr old: But Mama?
mama: yes son?
4 yr old: Maybe we could go get one today and SURPRISE dada!
My kids have a little sister they've been trying to return to the hospital for a few years now - maybe they could sell her to the baby store instead :)
