The Art of War

Has anyone read it - isn’t this a book some chinese dude wrote a long time ago? Or am I confusing the title with another one?

Re: The Art of War

PCG, instead of posting a question here, did you even try Google first?

Yep, it’s the same book…

It’s a great book in the sense, that although primarily martial in nature, it goes beyond that…

The Chinese also learn the art of debate from this book because not everyone is a fighter…

Re: The Art of War

PCG, leave this...go check out "The Historian"...fanstastic book..guaranteed to keep you engrossed for the next 2 weeks and it has a female protagonist...what are the chances?

Re: The Art of War

There is also a book with this same title written by Joan Brady.

Re: The Art of War

I saw that one on the bookshelf - not interested in it P-diddy.

Yes, Maena, ok that is why I was getting confused, because I thought the Art of War was written by some Chinese guy, and then I came across the Brady one.

Re: The Art of War

Well tell me more - is it an easy read - or is the text dense...

What impression did it leave on you?

Re: The Art of War

Fantastic site that has the original text as well as the interpretation of other Chinese masters and scholars…
