Well I just avoid people and speak when neccasary, silence speaks a thousand words sometimes… most women eventually end up asking me if I am a statue and then I start talking and they wish they had not asked…

phew! I can't befriend them either... especially the really girly girly ones. Here's an example - studied in an all girls institute - 40 girls in class, friendless in first term, mostly through 2nd as well, finally made a friend in 3rd, after four years together - still formal and awkward around most of them.

there must be a lot married muslimahs where you live.
eid parties or the local masjid must have other women that have similar views and interests
i actually tend to have more guy friends in real life that are in my field of interest, female friends are there too but the guy friends that i have were always dependable. not saying female friends are not like that it's just the ones that i befriended ended up being more fair weather friends during college and later on.....

Actually guys just get along well, they don't have to be close or anything to joke around and have fun. Even some girls do. But finding good sincere friends is hard for everyone these days sigh indeed

hope you're just sad about it and not actually depressed, that can be a bit more serious
