I just saw 2011 Sonata on the road 2 days back and the design is wonderful :k:
The 2.4L engine has 200 hp going upto 35mpg !!!
The outside looks like marriage of BMW and Mercs :k: Only if I was in the market for a new car sigh

Why not Hyundai? They started 100,000 mile warranty for engine/transmission back in 2006 and they have been on the rise for reliability :k:

Both the brands are cheap copies of other huge brands like Honda,Merc..if the car looks like merc from front, it looks like honda from behind.
I havent seen reliable engines of any KIA or Hyundai. At high speeds even (120 Km/Hr +), engines of other brands of same capacity show better performance in acceleration. I have experienced this in UAE and Kuwait.

people, read up on Genesis..and what it has done in Asia, and then figure out what has been transferred from Genesis to Sonata.
People who know stuff more than you or I about cars had some rather nice things to say about Genesis…plus awards and stuff.

Everybody is entitled to his own opinion. There is no scale which tells who knows more stuff. Genesis maybe,maybe just one example out of many Hyundai cars, no biggie. Other brands just more in the same league.
