Is it just me or is it that the Sunnis are pro-Aisha (R) wheras the Shias are not; they prefer Fatima (R). Could this by any chance be tracked back to the fact that there might have been conflicts between Fatima (R) and Aisha (R), especially since Fatima’s (R) mother was Khadija (R) and not Aisha (R), and that Aisha (R) was Fatima’s (R)‘s father’s wife, but that she was Fatima’s (R)’ own age? I remember reading a hadith on how one time Fatima entered Aisha and the Prophet’s quarters, and Aisha basically put Fatima in her place somehow and the Prophet approved of what Aisha had said. Also the fact that Aisha and Ali tended to conflict so much to the point that there was a full fledged war between the two of them over a political matter…its interesting that Ali is Fatima’s husband…
Could there have been a family rivalry issue that kept the two parties biased against one another which may have INADVERTENLY led to the rift between Shias and Sunnis?
Is there any hadith that describes the LOVE between Aisha and Fatima, by any chance? Love as in mother-daughter love (not just respect as in, hey I’m your step mom, so respect me, kind of deal).
[FONT=Times New Roman,Times]’Aisha also narrates what modern newsmen would call a human-interest story. The other wives of Muhammad sent FatIma, his daughter, to him. Muhammad saw her when “he was lying with me in my mantle,” ’Aisha narrates. FatIma told Muhammad: “Allah’s Messenger, verily, your wives have sent me to you in order to ask you to observe equity in case of the daughter of AbU QuhAfa.” “O daughter, don’t you love whom I love?” Muhammad replied with a counterquestion. She said yes; and having been thus silenced, she went back. The wives wanted her to go again but she said: “By Allah, I will never talk to him about this matter.”
[FONT=Times New Roman]This is the closest thing I could find to it. I read a similar hadith that was worded WAY differently. This one sounds nice. Could someone look this up and post up a more accurate version of it, in case this one is not accurate? I really don't have a collection of the hadith books.
PCG dont try to create stories from ur own....
no one has ever heard of any rifts between aisha (ra) and fatima (ra) or aisha (ra) and ali (ra)....
and even that war between aisha (ra) and ali (ra) was based on political differences that happened at a very later stage in their lives....
and even then they did not behave like enemies but just having different opinions with each one respecting the other....
stop trying to initiate unwanted quarrels here....
