As Muslims we are supposed to shave our pubic hair but how many of us here actually do and also how short does count as being ‘shaved’. I mean do we have to have it always completely smooth or is there a length which is recommended. Also does this include the balls as well?
(I cut myself once trying to shave them and it was painful!! )
how about for ladies?
aesthetically speaking I personally find that a shaved (female) pubic area looks far more attractive than a hairy one. What do the girls think and other guys? Girls what about you? Do you prefer shaved guys or hairy guys?
Also girls use dilipidatory (?) cream right to remove hairs down there or do u shave too? I currently shave but have thought about using the cream after being cut..the problem is i am too embarassed to go to the chemist to buy some! any solutions?!?!
For hygene I tend to agree, but please don't drag islam into it. Please show any Quranic references regarding this nonsense, I bet you can't provide a single one.
Please do not say things and attribute them to god.
I am sorry I may have spelled it worng but, in reply to your post my friend aahmed it is not in Quran but sure enough it is in a book called Hadees-e-Nabawi. if you read it you will find your answers. and everything that is in that book and also in Quran it is for our benefits and remember Reading and understanding is two different things. you can read and memorize a whole book but if you don't understand it you will always have Questions.
The first Hadees was recorded more than 200 years after the death of Prophet (SAW). Is there any refernce to hair in Quran that can be linked to this Hadees?.
Just having long hair alone does not mean it is not clean or hygenic. Having long head hair is not prohibited in Islam.
I am not sure and that is why I am asking this. To me, as long as the hair (all over your body) is kept clean, the length and width should not be an issue.
Exactly Funguy, these guys can NEVER provide any QURANIC references to their nonsense, even though I specifically asked for QURANIC references.
Bhai if you want to live your life based on something that someone said that someone said that someone said that the prophet may have said, so be it, but when god says that the Quran is a complete book, then I believe God. And if God's complete book doesn't have anything about the length of ones pubic hair, only stating that one has to be clean, than that's what I'm gonna do. To each his own.
