Going to Pakistan in a few weeks…wanted to know if anyone can suggest the best mehndi cone or mix available in the markets?
I heard singhaar was the best but it doesn’t turn out too great on arms and outside of my hands.
Anyone know of any mehndi that leaves a dark brown result all over?

The absolute best is one made by mehndi artists. Use rajasthani triple sifted henna powder and add eucalyptus oil. Best recipe around.
If you are using 6 tablespoons of henna powder add 3 tablespoons of eucalyptus essential oil. Also use lemon juice to make the,mix.

where can it be found in Canada? I'd like to try making my own cones as the ones available in the market are often stale......

The ones available in Pakistan have so many chemicals, stay clear of one called "emergency". Most of them give great results byt contain lots of chemicals as well as petrol.
