exactly its a respectable piece of clothing!

especially here in dubai everyone sees a a covered up woman with respect

you can still be covered up without having to wear an abaya.....

you can wear loose fitting shirts and skirts...serves the same purpose (ie hides the outline of the body)

I like abayaas but in different colors, like pink, light green and they are awsome. I am not wearing them right now but i am trying to wear them but still not successful. but i wear hijaab .

aur at times i go out in hurry…i just put on my abaya and just wash my face thats it
where as guys have to change their clothes

abaya is a good thing for nikammis:phati:

Thats the one bad thing about abayas …it makes you lazy. Thats why I only wear abaya when i’m wearing clothes with short sleeves or tight or see-through clothes.
