The 4th dimension

Don't be worried about 'religious' persons... you are as entitled to an opinion as 'they' are. I.E. don't be bullied.

you lose them in the fourth dimension???

aint we already have four dimensions, with space having three and time being the fourth one??

Re: The 4th dimension

Good Topic...

No I was not talking about the time as fourth dimension, i was talking about the 4rth spatial dimension

In fact there are more dimensions enveloping even our own world but our senses are limited within the bounds of this 3D world so we simply can’t comprehend what would it be like in a multi-D world. An interesting point about Time is that it behaves differently in higher dimensional world compared to ours. But this whole concept is just so contorted & mind boggling for us mere mortals to understand.

Re: The 4th dimension

Frankly speaking, it is a bad idea to slip from dimension to dimension, even if the idea can somehow be justified as conceptually correct. Since not all of your information can jump from x to y or xy to yz.

I agree with saint_devil. Just to add on: Time may even stop behaving if we reach high enough number of dimensions!

how can you say that? When I move up or down or left or right in this 3 dimensional space, all my info moves together. It should remain the same when you decide to move from 3rd to any 4th or 5th dimension.

There is a t associated with every x, xy and xyz. So, moving even in 3d changes that.

But jumping to higher dimensions (say 4th or 5th), you are tagged with additional information (say alpha and omega) just like when you jump to a lower dimension, your info is lost.

Now, between us and jinns, for example, we may have different alphas and omegas describing the two is different ways in the real number of dimensions created.

According to String theory, there should actually be 11 dimensions.

Re: The 4th dimension

Imagining the 10th dimension…

It seems to me that you just contradicted yourself :D. you said that jumping to higher dimension should add more info into your system just like jumping to lower dimension take it away ... but in the other post you implied that you may lose some info when moved to higher dimensions.

really?

Re: The 4th dimension

:hmmm: maybe not

Thank you for this video!!

QUITE INTERESTING… We dont know 1/2 of what this universe really is about!!

Re: The 4th dimension

You are welcome!

Re: The 4th dimension

4th dimension is time

Re: The 4th dimension

about fourth dimension you may get your answers from shifa online institute of mind sciences search google for it :)

Re: The 4th dimension

what if gravity is a push not pull?
gravitational waves leaking from 4th dimension towards our 3 dimension world.
but before moving towards 4th dimension lets see 1st and 2nd dimension world
how would you observe a 2d world? there is no 2d world. we live in 3D. imagine 1d world. there is no 1d world.
if string theory is right than we will be able to see 1d and 2d world
