Google to see pics of some of the "Bollywood Biggies" and what they were wearing - tbh if i was able to add the links (which cant cos got less posts) - theyre not really worth posting anyway...seen some of the outfits and they werent nice.

still havent managed to find pics of the bride....

WOW!! thts way too many ppl attending a wedding how would the family have met and greeted all their guest?? I'd be uncomfortable yet nervous if i as a bride had the entire UK attend my wedding!!

i have been to a wedding where there were abt 500 ppl and thats was crazy.

Ive been to a wedding with 400 and it was chaos u cant even enjoy bc its way too crowded and especially with desi ppl it just becomes way too complicated i rem ppl taking chairs of those who would get up to get food or wutever and when they would get back to their tables the chairs would be gone bc ppl would turn an 8 seating table into a 15 ppl table and thts just annoying. Now i can only imagine a 6000 guest wedding way too much for me to handle i probably wouldnt even come out of the bridal suite its not like anyone wouldve noticed tht the bride wanst in the room!! :halo:

Hindujas are one of the business tycoons India and bound to have many, many, and many friends, family, family friends, business partners, and what not...Plus in Desi weddings, anyone who can be invited to a wedding will be invited and, therefore, I'm not surprised by the scale of the wedding...When a nobody can spend millions of Rupees in their kids' wedding, then it's Hindujas who are so not "nobody"

Yeah, they’re like the Mittals who held the record for the most expensive wedding ever for their daughter Vanisha. Apart from all the ‘normal’ people there were loads of celebs, desi and Western (Kylie sang for them!).

A combined guess count of 300-400 is manageable, provided the hall is spacious enough to accommodate them all. I have been to a wedding where there were more people than the seating, the bride's family had to bring extra chairs in for people to sit, THAT was chaotic! Regardless of however many are at the wedding, I can't imagine guests NOT coming up to the parents and the bride n' groom to wish them! Often, wedding videographers walk up to each table and ask guests if they would like to have their message recorded for the couple.

At my wedding, there was 250ish.

At the reception in France, there were 900+ people :( I felt like an animal in a zoo, with my MIL parading me around to all the french aristocracy...not a pleasant experience :(
