They are majboor,
They are evil or viewed as evil. They are looked at as a threat to someone's marriage...how could they not be?

The Arithmetic does not add up. Isn't the male/female ratio decreasing and is currently < 1 in North India, Pakistan and Afghanisthan due to well known reasons? So for each man having 4 wives, there are at least 3 poor guys without a wife.
