That Creamy Palak and Chicken

Usually when I end up eating at desi restaurants, most of them always have this chicken in creamy sauce. Sometimes even palak is offered in creamy sauce. I think its called Punjabi Palak or Bhahjia.

I must admit, I love that creamy sauce, whether it has chicken or palak in it. Would someone pls. gimme the recipe for it. I know the restaurant won’t gimme it.

Isnt it what they called 'chicken makhani' and 'palak makhani'? I must be frank, i had never seen or heard of that dish in punjab, or Pakistan. I think they add lots of yogurt to it, cause they certainly dont add 'makhan'. I dont see any secrecy in the recipe, and im sure the restaurant would at least be willing to tell u the ingredients.

Yeah!!.. its called makhani... Man I love it!

Ghalib u r sucha paytoo!!! :)

Chicken Makhni or Palak Makhni are popular dishes in India mostly in restuarants. You maybe able to find the receipes in an Indian cookbook. I think the dishes contain quite a bit of cream (half & half).

ooooookay! Didn't realize requesting recipes for dishes makes one paytoo..

Anyways, I am a growing boy so I eat all the veggies (palak) and meat (chicken). Just what a growing body needs!

Isn;t there a website for these items... I could've sworn I saw a banner for the site...hmmm
