happened to me and my friend quite a few times but we ended up making friends with the guys there.
Once we even got in naig (joota chupai rasm) hurdle with the bride’s cousins. Greatest 500 rupees I ever made.

It was an awkward moment when I was hugging my khala and when we parted I thought we were supposed to hug on the other side as well but she thought she would better kiss me on my cheek. This somehow lead her to kiss me very close to my lips!! I think it was on my lips!! :S

when i was a kid [up to age 14] i spoke very little Urdu and that too always incorrectly *.
one of my neighbor * was holding his child. i wanted to ask if the baby was a boy or a girl. i translated it in my head and proceeded:

Neighbor: yeh teen mahine kaa mard hai
every body started laughing and i got sooooo embarrassed. :(**
