I was on the plane coming back from Saudi to London when I spotted one of my friend, went upto him and seeing him sitting alone I asked him he was going to London without the family. He said yes to which I replied in Punjabi “kaley kaley ayashir karan ja rae ho”. He looked at me and said “my mother has just passed away I am going to her funeral”. I didnt know what to say.
