Not being behind the wheel for a while did kinda give a lil rusty feeling about my control on the road. But not having a car didn’t bother me that much.
The sun was up and I was working late that afternoon, just realized that I will have to figure out a way to get to and from work, I slid my hands in my pockets for my phone which was eagerly waiting for me at the coffee table. Finally I made a few calls and not only did I get a ride, but it was more like a luxury. It was a maroon truck sitting on an 8 cylinder motor roaring to be floored … many horses indeed. Yes, in the “South” it is a luxury.
Got behind the wheel… felt like a bully with many Toyotas and Hondas around.. that looked like nothing but lil kids.. perhaps lowers forms of life. So what if they are more dependable and durable. I am glad I didn’t have one of those everlasting cars. Cuz if I did, my car wouldn’t be in the shop for more than a month and I wouldn’t be driving this red beast on a mean mean road.
It was just then that I realized, that no matter what happens to you, it is a blessing in disguise. People who realize it, accept life, and people who dont, they reject life or perhaps the life rejects them as they would say it.
So, thank you Plymouth for smoking god only knows what before designing the Plymouth I drive. Cuz if it wasn’t for you, I would be like a lil kid on the road, and some red mean bully would be looking down on me.
Kapish!
