Public fund raising for flood victims in UAE have raised 85 Million Dirhams and in Netherlands people have raised 16million Euros for flood victims.
Thats a very kind gesture from people of both countries.

Had the govt. had better reputation, the funds could have been much more than it is raised... funniest part is, in most of countries, embassies has done nothing or very little to convince the locals that there is flood and all the amount donated by the people and charitable institutes would go to the affected areas... may be they know it is hard to convince people about the corrupt Pakistani regime...
The other day i heard that Ibrar ul Haq, Imran Khan, Talat Hussain and some others have collected around USD 2 Billion dollars in matter of days... this is what credibility can do... although few would think that it is again a conspiracy that people of the world are not ready to donate to the Zardari led govt... despite their several pleads...

I doubt it was USD 2 billion, may be PKR 2 billion. According to Imran Khan's website so far collection is around USD 1.1million (PKR 96million), may be pledges are higher.

MKRF+IMRAN: USD 4 Million
UK : USD 7.7 Million ( 5 Million Pounds)
Catholic relief services : USD 5 Million
Edhi : USD 35 Million
Malik Riaz: USD 2 Billion
Not to mention donations and relief activities by Al-Khidmat, Jamat ud Dawa, Sahara, Khidmat-e-Khalq, Army and PTI in terms of commodities...
Donations by UN : USD 500 Million
Donations by KSA : USD 100 Million
Donations by USA : USD 50 Million
( I think these all went to govt)
