I was ban second time for no reason at all. I have never been personal and ever used profanity. This time ban said due to previous reason I was banned till Jan 2008!! And I never knew what the previous reason was. Since I joined this gupshup program most of my posts aimed at real democracy in Pakistan. Am I committing sin by propagating this? One of your moderators perhaps never liked this idea and kept on cutting and issuing warnings. Some how some one might have thought I did not commit any crime here and released from unnecessary ban. Thank you very much.
Now back to ban and warnings. This forum is so good that I have continued to participate on and of since its inception in the mid nineties. People usually vent their feelings here and I think there is no harm in it. Every one has right to have his/her feelings transpired in different threads. Some of the threads were/are marvelous. The knowledge based threads started by some participants are superb and thought provocating.
Finally life is short having few moments of fun in this forum is an excellent idea. This Gupshup forum means a Chat program. It is not necessary that every one should accept or agree here what is being written.
Suggestion: Unless some one is too personal, racist or use profanity, should be allowed to continue without giving any warnings or banning from the forum because he/she does not tow the line of certain moderator.

There is harm in venting feelings when it is offensive to others or non-conduisive to intellectual debate. There is no such thing as "too personal"; we do not tolerate any level of personal attacks and both actively search for instances of these occuring and react to reported posts.
If you feel that you have been warned or banned unfairly, you may take up the issue with either other moderators from the forum, or directly with admin.
We as a team are trying to prevent the forum getting out of hand with personal attacks, flaming, insulting and rude behaviour. The next few months are going to be very testing as elections take place and the political scene changes in Pakistan. We welcome healthy discussion so long as it stays civil and within the rules. I appeal to everyone involved in posting in PA forum to please refrain from personal attacks and other insulting behaviour. This is directed towards all guppies and not towards anyone person. lets have full and lively discussion but within the bounds of decency.
