^^I don't remember whiteheads but I suffered from serious cystic acne while using rosehip oil. I gave up after trying it for 3 months. It took me a while to figure out that rosehip oil was the culprit. I wish I had stopped using it much earlier but alas I am stuck with the after effects and the scars are still there a year late.
I had the occasional pimple before I started using rosehip oil but my face was such a mess after. I had an oily skin tone when I started using the rosehip oil but now I have an oily severely acne prone skin tone.I learned the hard way that products that work wonders on one person can wreak havoc on another!

This is something everyone needs to keep in mind when using ANY products. Even with these oils, not all oils will suit everyone's skin. That's why its important to try different types until you find the one that works for your skin. :)
^ Some people's skin type cannot handle any type of oil or product that contains oil.
For example, I have always had oily acne-prone skin. As long as I use products that are not greasy (i.e. more gel based or oil free creams) my skin is perfect and I can go months on end without even a single blemish, but the second I try a product with oil of any type or a cream that is more greasy and rich I will get a zit the next day.
I am sure rosehip oil can work wonders for lots of people but for those like myself who already have very oily skin....it should be avoided because it can actually make it much worse.
