Sometimes, I feel maybe, just maybe PPP is not all that bad… maybe they do have some soft corner for the country. Then I visit these or similar pages and the PPP supporters remove all such doubts. I thank them for keeping my vision clear.
Every time I read ‘arguments’ put forward by Jiyalas, it reconfirms my beliefs that,
– PPP is in competition with the ‘establishment’, for looting the country.
– the party thrives on developing hatred for ‘others’ in the hearts and minds of people, and the ‘others’ depend on which area of the country you are in. The vote bank doesn’t depend on their governance performance but on their acting skills.
– the party lives on corruption. People in politics and bureaucracy are rewarded based on how good they have served the masters. These people can never act against the wishes of the masters since not only they are financially dependent on them but also out of fear since the masters know what they have been up to. We only need to see high-profile appointments made during past 4 years and to confirm it. They cry about corruption of ‘others’ but we can see how many corruption cases they have pursued even against their political opponents in the last 4 years.
– the party cannot afford education, health and infrastructure development in its strongholds. The easy way of winning support through giving jobs in state organizations like PIA and even directly dishing out money (e.g. Benazir Income Support Fund) instead of development has worked so far. The system also ensures that the people on whom the local population is economically, socially, religiously dependent get PPP tickets.

Your disillusionment is shared by many, but if you're looking for a party to idolize, you're not going to find it in Pakistan. Dehumanizing the 'other', corruption, pathological levels of narcissism - none of this is unique to any socioeconomic strata in the country, let alone the party everyone loves to hate (for valid reasons). It's easy, and perhaps cathartic to demonize a person or group, but society as a whole shapes politics.

When you write this nonsense, you always forget that your loti PTI has people either kicked from PPP and other parties or they left falsely assuming that loti PTI is the future of Pakistani power base because it was supported by Pasha the ex-DG ISI. Just focus on your loti PTI and super permanent lotay which you are paid for. Don’t increase height of loti PTI, IK by down grading PPP by uttering above lies.
We have to give it to the ppp supporters, the sun can rise from the west, the party can run the country dry but their love for the party will remain.

what conspiracies are taking place which prevent the government from producing electricity, providing good governance, improving economy and eliminating corruption? Is the establishment forcing the government to install corrupt and incompetent people as head of important public institutions, and then force them not to carry out action against them even after proof of their corruption?
The performance of the government is so good that still they are trying to use ethnic cards (Sindhi and Seraiki) to win the next term. Ideally any government should go to the next elections based upon their performance.
