After an interview,should thank you note to the interviewer be posted by post?Or can i just send them a thank you note via email?Sending a thank you note via email would be enough?

Thank you note via email will not be as impressive as via snail mail. So if you can use the postal system and leave a lasting impression.

Yes, an email will be just fine - it's standard practice now - Email doesn't always have to be casual... if you word it well and make it formal, it'll be alright.

You do not have to . But if you do that sticks you out of the crowd.
