Should you send a thank you note/letter/email to an employer after a written test conducted by them?
PS - It’s a pre-interview written test and not an interview.
Re: Thank you note/letter/email
No I don't think so ! If I were at your place I wouldn't write any thank you letter.

Why so? ![]()
Re: Thank you note/letter/email
was this a test administered to you individually, or to a group? - if it's the latter, there's really no need for a thank you letter.
Part of the reason for a thank you letter after an interview is that the employer has used their resources (scheduling, personnel time etc.) in getting to know you beyond your résumé and any other screening tools they might be utilizing.

Then how about a follow-up email? ![]()

^ you didn't answer my question above... was this a test administered to you individually, or to a group?
Also, was the hiring procedure outlined in advance?
give us some more information about the recruitment process, so we can answer your queries.
Re: Thank you note/letter/email
This test was administered to a group. It was a pre-interview test, and those who would pass this test would be called in for an interview.
Re: Thank you note/letter/email
I have never heard of anyone thanking anyone for taking a test!
