My sisters are throwing a really nice baby shower for me.

I was wondering…what are appropriate thank you gifts I can give them? I have 3 sisters.

I also want to give something to two of my SIL’s as well.

Any suggestions?

-A nice make up goodie bag. :D
-A frame with their photograph with you preggo, with the words "Khala to be" somewhere.
-If you know what to name the baby, then perhaps a personalized mug with the words "XYZ's Khala".

gift certificate for a salon/spa, make-up/lotion type place, or some other store. Maybe accompanied with a framed picture or something.

Since they are your sisters, you can do something that's more personal to each of them.

I was thinking of giving them personalized frames after baby is born with his picture and a few lines from him along with something else.

Not sure of what else though.

Some sort of salon visit seems nice actually or a souped up makeup goody bag.

^First thing that came to mind was a spa visit...massage, facial, the works....followed by a nice lunch or dinner if you all live in the same area. Basically a day of pampering where all four of you take the day off ...take a break. Take several pics of baby with your other nieces and nephews....maybe where the kids are holding the baby...that would make for a nice pic for a personalized frame....something that the kids themselves and their parents would like.

I actually found some gift cards that can be used at a lot of different salons...I think it'll end up being a some sort of a spa gift along with the pictures.

I can also do a photo shoot...a family picture day or something?

You know what I'm thinking? A collage-like setting of photos of baby + the kids....even in silly, goofy poses. Something separate with just the kids would be really, really cute....and so you get a cool picture frame where you can set not just one but multiple pics of the kids...like a collage. It came to mind cuz at my sister's valima, the coolest childhood picd were shared in a video...it was very nicely done. Maybe I'm thinking too much or too far ahead, but it's good to have to some creative shots of the babaaay with his cousins...especially that Bilal; he's delicious, lol. Apart from the kids...Also do a family picture or photo shoot as well as you suggested above. It's your first baby, a very special time, go all out, lol.

The last two baby showers I hosted for close friends one gifted me and the other hostesses gorgeous scarves and the other gifted us Michael Kors wristlet/wallets

Gift them a nice dulha like yours (of course only if they are unmarried)

OK, here's a guy's point of view, STOP BEING SO DAMN PRUSSIAN. They are your sisters, you don't need to send them thank you cards in your haalat. They understand, they are khaalas. Vaddi aayi gori.
