Not long time ago, India was trying to settle scores with Australia in the ground and Indian and Pakistani guppies were busy bomb shelling each other at KK website. I used to think that if the animosity-level between both groups is so high for a non india-pakistan series, what would happen during the up-coming India-Pakistan series? Honestly, I thought that this website would become a Masshllliee Bazar.
However, in contrast to my thoughts, we had a wonderful series throughout without any major “riot” at KK website. The level of discussion was high, frustration was expressed in a decent manner by guppies and there was almost ball-ball coverage for the whole series. All credit goes to Moderators in general and Ehsan and Samb. in particular who made sure that throughout the match, there should be at least one moderator present to keep the discussion decent . This aspect was of extreme importance as we had a lot of female guppies participating. Moderators were innovative also and introduced some new ideas to raise the level of discussion at KK ( match summaries etc). I thought we should appreciate the hard work done by our moderators. GOOD JOB GUYS. KEEP IT UP.
In the end, special thanks for sabi and karina for writing those wonderful summaries at the end of each match. Both of you did a great job and I really mean it. I am sure all other guppies would agree with me. It takes time and commitment to write such summaries and both of you produced a quality product within a short period of time. Saby was expected to produce a good summary as he watches cricket with great passion and he did a wonderful job. But karina was the really surprise for me. Her summaries were equally good equipped with some thoughtful analysis and a refreshing style of writing. If Anil Dharkkar keeps producing some baseless articles at ciricketnext.com, why don’t you replace him Karina? Any way good job by both of you and I am looking forward to read your summaries for test matches too.

On a serious note ..you nailed it bro.. The mods are doing a tremendous job..As usual Ehsan bhai is right up there but Samb actually proved his crtiques wrong!He is awesome!Gs did the right thing by making him the mod..

Well, I've enjoyed writing the summaries, and you're right, it was a great idea by the mods to have something like this. The atmosphere's been electric here. It's been really heartwarming that in keeping with the new friendship trend we have got out of our defensive modes and started appreciating each others' cricket and countrymen, and stopped seeing a loss as defeat in war. All credit to the people of Pakistan for making this tour so memorable!
I remember ‘electric’ atmosphere last year around the same time. However, I dont see your friend Asif Khan around. May be he is on a long vacation (or who knows, may be banned ;)).
Over past couple of years, I have seen most of the people here are nice and friendly. If you have something logical to say and you put it in a decent manner, nobody minds. Ofcourse, mods are gem of orginizers :k: who keep here and there attacks of shallow minded people at bay.
I totally agree.It was pretty peaceful.I think reason for that was mainly that there was less provocation from Pakistani brothers.We Indians never start panga here .We are always in reactionary mood.

Yeah, its true, when all websites were dead and when there was no hope for the update, it was Gs who kept ticking and ticking, like the live scorer in the ground..

Just a word to say I really enjoy the write ups by saby and Karina. Karina’s accounts are very professional and well written and with saby you get the view from the fan, not managing to be quite as impartial
