I think there is far too much anti-Americanism in this forum, and not enough appreciation of what the US has actually done in helping Muslims. So here is my list of thank you’s to this great nation.

Thank you America for liberating Muslim Kuwait from the Iraqi occupiers in 1990.

Thank you America for saving the Muslim people of Somalia form starvation in 1990.

Thank you America for saving the Muslim Kurds in Northen Iraq in 1991 from Saddam’s slaughtering army after the first Gulf war, and setting up safe haven’s for them.

Thank you America for coming to the rescue of the Muslim Bosnian people in 1995, and saving them from the genocide of the Serbs.

Thank you again America for liberating the Muslim Kosovar people from the Serbian army in 1999.

Thank you America for freeing 25 million Muslim Afghans from the tyranny of the Taliban in 2001.

I don’t think,…you are in position to make any jdgement here,..that USA is hated here on these forums,…I Love America,..may be more than you,..Therefore, discuss and change the perception of the peoples as I am doing,…

There's plenty to cheer for US, nobody disagrees with the facts and historical perspective where US ppl have been of great help to Muslims. Let me add another to your list, Suez Canal crises 1956--UK/France/Israel against Egypt, crises averted because of US intervention.

Had it not been US criticism of colonialism, post WW1 world wud not have changed much....

Yet, US has made many mistakes, some minor and some extremely grave. If the civilized world criticizes US mistakes its not out of hate or jealousy but as an outrage against any miscarriage of justice..

And for trying to set up a armed presence there to monitor the region for opportunities to exploit the masses while during the same time looking the other way when the America’s other dog, Pol Pot, massacred 2 million of his own people in Cambodia…

For supplying and arming the Kurds (who were aiding Iran during the Gulf war) to take over Iraq by a civil war (In which thousands would have died hadn’t Saddam received intelligence report…
