During a visit to one of the Southern states this summer, his car got stuck at busy intersection. He was returning from grocery shopping back to his relative’s house. Once the engine stalled, the air-conditioning went out as well. Toddlers in the back seat started crying due to searing heat from the afternoon sun.
While he was trying to call AAA, a lady police officer pulled up. Quickly realizing the situation she radioed the tow truck and a backup squad car. Then asked my friend to move the little ones to her car, away from heat.
She helped transfer all the groceries from my friend’s car to hers and gave them ride to the place where he was staying.
At the end of the ride, kids received little gifts like sheriff badges and stickers. The lady officer also helped unload all the grocery bags, said, “have a nice day” and left.
p.s. The back up police officer worked with tow-truck guy and took the car to the nearest auto-mechanic. I realize that police officers are “supposed” to help a person in need. However with so much negative news on this forum, a story with human heart should be a welcome change.
Hmmm. Wonder what would have happened if he had a long beard?
'Er, Sarge we have a suicide bomber with his kids in the back. The terrorist has stopped at a busy intersection to cause as much damage as possible. Shall I take him out?'

Worst possible example of cynicism! Obviously, living with Arrabobs can destroy the optimist portion of one's brain.
Cafe General maybe.
Did he/she offer his/her donuts as well? Must be a busy town. Hmmm or maybe it was racial profiling because two cop cars were involved.
Sounds like you are spending too much time with Al Sharpton the Charlatan. You are obviously desperate to dig out racial stuff where there was none.
Or may be the NY police treats your 7-11 cabbie brothers that way. Wake up America exists outside NY as well.

You are a funny guy. You keep me amused, however can I hear some other joke coming out of your A$$ besides 7-11, cabbie, mattoo, pitoo its too old now. Let it go.
BTW You do make me laugh. Hows the Kashmiri insurgents doing that are aligned with OBL your other brother?
^^ oh it's his idiotic Matto, pitoo, 7-11 cabbie mantra that makes me laugh. He clearly is a brainwashed idio..... err gentelman. He doesn't have any intelligent thing to say so he will bring his cabbie lingo (I guess he doesn't realize that) into posts, and I laugh at his nonsensical ramblings. I mean if he reads my posts with an open mind (if he has any) maybe he'll learn a thing or two and realize that I somewhat agree with him. But its ok. I used to deal with kids that have special needs he clearly comes accross as one.:D
It’s the greatness of this nation of the United States (one nation under God) that this is the most powerful nation of all. It’s Americans helping other Americans regardless of where one comes from. No one questions your beliefs even if you want to pray inside a men’s bathroom while taking a piss. May Allah :swt: continue to bless the United States and the rest of Nazi inspired world look upto it as a complete model of humanity and prosperity.
:jhanda;
Everytime I mention United States, tears come rolling down my cheeks.
^hey the Brits are no different ok? just the other day a nonmuslims lady wouldn’t let me buy sweets because she knew they had gelatin in them. How sweet.
‘Everytime I mention United States, tears come rolling down my cheeks.’
so would I, if i was living in the United States. I dont blame you.
One Pakistani family gets help by the Police, while 20 get ...... by Customs, FBI, CIA, Police and the general public. Yes, the ratio seems fair.
Talk about clutching at straws.
Hey, shall I tell you about that Pakistani guy who got a job the other week in the UK.....? Yes. One Pakistani guy got a job. The quota has been fulfilled!
