Winter is such a great balm for a weary soul. I love it at night the most when everyone has gone to bed and the snow forms a smooth layer on the sidewalks. I often get a cup of something hot, sit on my front stoop after midnight, and just watch the snow sparkle in the light as it comes down slowly, the flakes going where the wind takes them. Ahh can't wait for the night. I need something to soothe me right now.
