I would like to ask fellow posters advice on foods which are thanda tafseer, or alkaline foods. What meals would u recommend both English and desi.
Im currently pregnancy and have become very sensitive to garam or acidic foods. I can’t even eat chicken or eggs without being up.
Please any dietary advice for meals would be helpful.
I’m also actually lactose intolerant so can’t tolerate milk so drink coconut/ almond milk.
U find English websites to be wrong saying dates and mangoes are alkaline so am finding it difficult finding information on this. I’m based in the u.k so can’t go to desi doctor.
I don't think it's anything to do with garam and thandi taseer. I couldn't even tolerate water without throwing up and you can't get more thandi taseer than that. I couldn't eat chicken but could tolerate mutton and fish. Try that. Key is to find foods that you can tolerate without going into thanda and garam. Try dried apricots too to keep the nauseous feeling at bay. Ask your doctor for a prescription for anti nausea / vomitting medicine if it's too much to bear.
I agree with eastern, it's not about the garam/thanda taseer/alkaline which I don't understand to begin with lol, it's whatever you can tolerate. If you're nausea and vomiting is really bad and doesn't subside, ask your doctor for meds to help with it.
