Mahool, Thailand is a lovely country. I wouldn’t say their beaches are best, Maldives (3 hours flight from Bangkok) beaches are better. :k:
Cost of living in Thailand is cheap. People are friendly. Be careful of street crimes, pick picketers.
Their city Sukhothai is very ancient and known for it’s temples.
Ayuthaya (huge temples)
Phuket (has nice beaches, water is crystal clean)
But whole Thailand is worth visiting.
Where ever your friend goes, ask him to enjoy a Fish Body Massage, where fishes eat your dead skin.
