Extremist Indian party, Shiv Sena, has once again threatened Pakistani cricketers few hours before the opening ceremony of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011. Former Lok Sabha Speaker Manohar Joshi while talking to reporters here on Thursday said, “Bal Thackeray will decide whether to allow Pakistan team to play or not”. This is the latest expression of threats by the Shiv Sena leaders as Joshi clearly put question mark on the staging of ICC World Cup final match if Pakistan would qualify for it. “You all know Sena chief Bal Thackeray’s views. If the Pakistan team reaches the final, whether to allow them to play, the Sena chief will decide,” Joshi told reporters.
this is why the world cup should not have been held in India. Unsafe unhygienic stadiums, religious extremists, 90% of commonwealth participants experienced some degree of dysentery, delhi belly, bad environment for fast bowlers.. the list goes on.
I want to sincerely thank Thackeray for the confidence he has shown in our Pakistani cricket team making it to the finals of the WC 2011. I have been guilty of overlooking my own countrymen to make it to the Finals. Thanks for making me come to my senses and realize how dangerous our 11 cheetah players could be! Good stuff!
but one thing i dont get is why is bal thackery gonna decide or how can he decide whether pak should play or not thackeray has nothing to do with cricket. its to do with ICC and a country's cricket board.
or is bal thackery doing the regular talking he does about pakistan.

Good time for PCB to object to this and demand public appology from BCCI and Shiv Sena otherwise counter threaten that we replace whole team with ppl with TTP Players or leave the WC2011 - in both cases it would be win win for PCB...
