When I am typing on this website, some letters that I pressed on my keyboard are not being typed on the screen and I have to press a few times in some cases before I can type a letter.
Don’t know if this problem has been reported before or is it just me.

It use to happen with me. I use GS on IE in compatibility [EMAIL="mode@work"]mode@work and its fixed. Home i use chrome and never had this problem.

I have the same issue.
In internet explorer 10, I couldn't get the enter/backspace to work. I found that if I clicked the A/A (the one without the cross) button at the top left of the post edit window, the enter button started working.
In internet explorer 11, I get the typing problem mentioned by arshad. The same workaround solves this problem. As mentioned by dhoti, adding GS to compatibility view also fixes this.
Additionally, I get constant pop-up messages that say "internet explorer has stopped working. Do you want to close the program." If I just close the pop-up message, the browser window reloads. It happens only with GS and not any other site. It would be nice to get a fix for this.

Disable Javascript… will increase performance…

From what I can tell, there is quite a bit of JavaScript on the site. Wouldn't that mess up with quite a few functions here and there?
