does anyone know if it’s possible to upload txt messages from your cell phone to your computer?

or are there any other ways of saving them? some of 'em just have sentimental value and my inbox keeps getting filled up, so i thought to save 'em :smiley:

any ideas?

umm...ur fone has a microSD expandable memory slot, right? tried saving the txt msgs to that, and from there transferring them to the PC? (i'm assuming the fone came with some software like Nokia does with PC Suite to transfer stuff or backup the memory onto the PC)

yup, it's got the card - but how do i get the messages onto the card. that's the tricky part i can't seem to figure out.

If you'd have a Nokia phone you could simply upload the messages in a bulk operation by using the Nokia PC Suite. I don't know if Samsung has something similar.

If you're with o2 then they give you this Bluebook service which allows you to sms ur text/picture messages and anything else from your phone, up to ur virtual 'Bluebook' for no cost!
Then you can access them anytime and the storage space is 1000Mb :D

samsungmobile 's UK SITE .. download the samsung mobile data suite 3.1 its a lil tricky to get it installed.. u can snatch off messages from there..

when we meet.. remind me to talk about this.. i RECENTLY RECENTLY did this too .. mine's a samsung as well

nokia pc suite

if not then there is a software for nokia based phones,(s60 OS , n70,n73,6630..etc)...message storer

it may save 100 sms at once as text file in ur mobile's memory or mmc

after it transfter the file via blutooht/cable/infrared/card reader...etc

you will need a USB wire then u can, i do mine with this on D600.
and u need a software, which u get with the phone.
