Pakistan 's second satellite Badr-II, was successfully injected into the earth orbit at 10:30 pm (PST) on Monday, 10th of December 2001 from Russian Cosmodrome at Baikonour, Kazakistan on a Zenit-2 rocket. The total mass of the satellite is 68.5 Kg. It is orbiting the earth in a near circular sun - synchronous orbit. The satellite has been designed and fabricated by SUPARCO engineers. :biggthumb

PS: reminds me of something from star trek back in the 1960’s :biggrin:

This satellite does however look like something from star trek from 60's lol. but its all gooooood. I am still proud of Pakistani work.

Thanks.. I think the new Satellite is set to launch up before mid december of this year.
