Terry Fox died in Thunder Bay Ontario on his 5000 mile run from St' John's, Newfoundland, Canada and Vancouver, British Columbia.
on his death anniversary, Canadians walk to raise funds for Cancer Research.
there was another Canadian guy by the name of Steve Fonyo who followed his predecessor Terry Fox's footsteps. he had lost his one leg to Cancer at age 12.
he started his 'Marathon of Hope' by dipping his artificial leg in the Atlantic Ocean in St' John's and walked al;l the way to Vancouver, 5000 miles away, and dipped his other leg in the Pacific Ocean.
