Some of you guys may have forgotten this, but remember these reports from 1998 when the Afghan Taliban massacred Shia Hazaras in North Afghanistan. Horrifying stories. These taliban just really do need to be totally killed off like a cancer.

Expand into where – the only places it wasn’t focused on (as much) were KHybar and Bajur agencies, where they recently did start ‘Khyber II’ … maybe they just want to intensify it further.
IN any case, there definitely is room for expansion of Zarbe Azab to urban areas as well to dislodge their support system. Maulana Abdul Aziz of Lal Masjid and his Jamia Hafza. Imagine if we were at war with another country and we allowed their spiritual leader to establish a base within our soil. Somehow Abdul Aziz gets a clean chit. We need an Egypt like cleanup (which I was uncomftable with), where in a matter of a couple of months they announced and carried out death penalty for some of their mullahs that they said were supporting the Muslim Brotherhood activities. In their case, it might have been politically motivated, but in our case, it’s not a political matter.

All agencies (ISI, MI, FIA, CIA, IB, local metropolitan police) need to effectively synchronize their networking to share any threat intel and lay out counter plans on how to deal with them.

Apparently i came to know from inside source that that the number of martyred was around 500 and not what media has been reporting...

Wouldn't it be an outright operation against all? if law & order is the ultimate aim? Anatoli Leiven had said that unofficially, pakistani army officers had told him that an all-out operation in karachi was the worst nightmare of pakistan army as it could suck all the reserves in the city.
All agencies (ISI, MI, FIA, CIA, IB, local metropolitan police) need to effectively synchronize their networking to share any threat intel and lay out counter plans on how to deal with them.
Perhaps, the first thing should be that every agency should do what it is supposed to do and then cooperation can be extended. ISI is an interservices agency primarily for the military (army) though I think it should be more like CIA. I don't even hear anything about IB, so why is it even there and taking their salaries?
FIA is a criminal agency though it doesn't have the anti-terror mandate that FBI does here. FIA could have been use to stop the money laundering (kidnappings in karachi, peshawar etc) that funds these people. You have to first make the agencies do what they do and then change the roles if things aren't working out using the old tools. A rudderless ship like Pakistan won't be able to stop a complicated problem like terrorism with a half-assed approach.
