There is no such thing as fool proof security against a determined terrorist who wants to kill himself and is in a hurry to go to hell.

However, all these attacks and seiges have been dealt swiftly which is also sending a message to these scums that yes you can attack us but we are ready to deal with you.

I agree with the second para but I think much can be done to improve the safety of office buildings, schools and mosques etc.
