I could not believe it when I heard the news that the US occupiers had been outsmarted by a donkey, which caused so much damage.

Now I worry about the fact that the American’s will go after the donkey population of Iraq, a case of American khotas chasing the wily Iraqi khotas.

In an unprecedented move, president Bush declared today that America is now at war against these militant donkeys. In a press interview president Bush stated:

"Today we have a witnessed a terrible crime committed by these donkeys. In our untiring effort to eradicate terrorism, the horses have pledged us their support, the mules are on our side and the asses have said that we are Americans. United we shall prevail over this threat to freedom and democracy in the evil form of terrorist donkeys."

In an emergency press briefing Defense Secratary Donald Rumsfeld stated:

"These donkeys are a threat to the very existence of America and what it stands for. Our allies in this war have pledged us their support for which we are no less thankful. I wish to thank the horses for their support in eradicating evil, the mules have unanimously sided with us, but we truly thank the asses for opening up to us and allowing us to use their bases as we like them."

BAGHDAD: Since guerrillas used donkeys to outwit the high-tech defences of the US military in Iraq, the life of the beast of burden has never been so miserable.

Attackers used donkey carts to launch Katyusha rockets at the Oil Ministry and two fortified Baghdad hotels on Friday. Two other donkey carts were stopped – one carrying more rockets, the other a donkey-bomb wired up with explosives.

** Every donkey in Baghdad is suddenly under suspicion as US President George W Bush wages a global war on terror.

In a crackdown on an animal that already suffers multiple daily whippings, US soldiers with automatic rifles regularly stop and search donkey carts for weapons. ** :rotfl:

Donkey owners say petrol stations have been refusing to sell them kerosene for resale since the rocket attacks. The animals salivate and wheeze with exhaustion as they pull their owners and heavy loads across the potholed streets of the Iraqi capital in a desperate search for kerosene.

“I have five daughters to feed. I used to make 7,000 dinars ($3.50) a day. Now I earn only 2,000 since the Americans started pressuring us after the rocket attacks,” said Jabar Mahdi.
