i believe it gets a bit complicated when you apply this logic to religious gatherings. Firstly, there are emotions involved. Abandoning a ritual is tantamount to accepting a defeat. maybe not rational but thats how it is. Secondly, there is no bigger or smaller risk when it comes to the persecution of a minority. they could attack a ritual on a grand scale or they could carry out a target killing as long as the heavenly virgin is in sight. Also, if you look at the number of people killed in jaloos, masjid, imam bargah or target killing, they would almost each have an equal weight. Getting killed in the open in a jaloos is just more scary than being killed in the perceived security of a walled mosque or house for that matter. i hope u get my point. im off for now..May Allah keep us all in His amaan
