I am not surprised that you had not heard about Hamas when they were firing rockets into Israeli neighborhoods, but know all about how evil Israel is. This is how propaganda works (sigh).

These home made rockets that you are complaining of have killed 20 people in the last 8 years - 8 years is a long time if you ask me.. and what does Israel do? Kill 300 people in 1 day most of them civilians. and in the last 8 years? God knows how many Palestinians have died due to the blockades, disease, bombings..

What would you do to defend your country if it was attacked by rockets ? Hamas cannot set the rules in this war by saying that we killed 20, so you should also kill 20. And what about the numerous suicide bombings and other terrorist activities ? Hamas attacked a sovereign state which is pretty strong militarily, and paid the price. They are the ones responsible for the innocent Palestinians dying.
And which home made rockets are you talking about ? Hamas has been smuggling Iranian & Chinese made rockets from Egypt through underground tunnels.

What would YOU do to defend YOUR country if it was being bombed day & night from across the border and the organization bombing you has "sworn to destruction" of your country. YOU (and your country) talks of the nuclear option since thats the only thing helping your survive. ^ War is unfortunate, and civilian lives are lost. However, Israel did not start this war. It was started 60+ years ago by the Arab/Islamic states that swore to destroy Israel. However, they did not realize Israel's innate strength and desire to survive.
