Terrorism Weekly The Bhutto Assassination: A Tough Case for Scotland Yard

Re: Terrorism Weekly The Bhutto Assassination: A Tough Case for Scotland Yard

care to post a link?

And what did the investigators find there in Month number 6, that wasn't discovered in the first few days? And was it sitting in the middle of a major thoroughfare?

Hariri was assassinated using a car bomb. In that case you need the remains of the car and the body parts. How would they keep those body parts lying around for months? Any why would they leave the car parts out in the elements to rust for months on end?

BB died inside her car after getting hit by either a bullet, or bomb shrapnel, or some other blunt object. There was shooter and possible the same guy was the suicide bomber. tens of people died on that sad day whose body parts were on the scene. Again why would you keep the human remains on the scene? And that for more than a day?

Do a google search on Hariri assassination site cordoned off and u will find lot of links. One is here
http://www.time.com/time/magazine/article/0,9171,1066931,00.html

Humn remains can be picked up leaving other things at place.

Forensic experts can find lot of things at crime scene related to crime. Bullet fragments, actual bullets. Blast pattern etc

And if a forensic expert says it wud make a difference then it worth beleiving than the net wizards with no clue about forensics.

:rotfl: @ net wizards…

Re: Terrorism Weekly The Bhutto Assassination: A Tough Case for Scotland Yard

Icon bro! Then what did they find?

Your linked article was written in June 2005. Hariri was assassinated in Feb 2005. This article doesn't say a single thing about forensics from the cordoned off area.

And now we are in January 2008. What is the final telly on the forensic analysis?

p.s. There was another blast in Lahore and 24 of our brave law-enforcement officers got murdered. Forensic analysis from the crime scene was completed shortly after the blast.

How long would you recommend keeping Lahore blast site as cordoned off?

Re: Terrorism Weekly The Bhutto Assassination: A Tough Case for Scotland Yard

Are you suggesting BB's assassination was just another random suicide bombing?

Re: Terrorism Weekly The Bhutto Assassination: A Tough Case for Scotland Yard

They did find link of his murder to syria.

However, even President has acknowledged that cleaning the area within couple of hours of blast was sheer incompetence, to qoute his words.

As for Lahore blast i don't know how long the cordoned off the area but forensic analysis cannot be completed "shortly" after the blast, if it is carried out professionally. The trace evidence has to be collected, numbered, photographed, mapped up, all this takes time.

But i guess our forensic experts are probably not much of experts anyway.

Re: Terrorism Weekly The Bhutto Assassination: A Tough Case for Scotland Yard

More importance should be placed on her death as opposed to the 170 dead in Karachi or 50 dead in Charsadda?

Re: Terrorism Weekly The Bhutto Assassination: A Tough Case for Scotland Yard

BB's assassination was similar and by the same Kuffar who tried to assassinate other Pakistanis (both leaders and ordinary folks).

Syrian link came out in the first 24 hours. Explain to us what more was discovered by keeping the site "cordoned off for months".

Looks like we have a net forensics expert who knows more than Pakistani FIA and other agencies combined.

Re: Terrorism Weekly The Bhutto Assassination: A Tough Case for Scotland Yard

Well, dont you know that death of royalty and subjects are two different things? She was Queen of looterays … so she should have got Queen treatment too.

I think that her car and body should have been left on site there for forensic reasons as moving them was conspiracy by government. It was very important to see how her body rots as we know that body rot differently depending on how person got killed (like poisoning … and we do not know if she was poisoned or not). Leaving the body to rot for several months .. maybe couple of years on site would have been a good idea. Then investigation team could have investigated her skelaton too.

Yaar aap baikaar ka enquiry ker rahay hou  … Syrian case was about World trying to get rid of Syrian forces out of Lebenon and for that they made it a reminder for sometime until they can force Syria out of Lebenon.

On the other hand, dont be surprised if someone would come up and tell you that gold filling of Harari was very important to find form the site, as foresnic scientists considered that to find it was very important for vital but unknown clue, so area was cordoned so that it could be found. It took ages but still they could not find the gold filling, else hand behind murder could have got proven differently.

Don’t worry yaar, some people love to see blood and body parts scattered on the road and would love more if vultures gets there eating body part, as how vulture eat body parts is very important to know for forensic investigations, hence site with gruesome sights ‘with car and BB dead body’ should have been left there for years :).

Obviously moving ‘BB car and her body’ from the site was worse than cleaning the site, as that was vital evidence at the site that should not have got destroyed, so that British team could have investigated both. :halo:

Re: Terrorism Weekly The Bhutto Assassination: A Tough Case for Scotland Yard

You are so sure about that. Kyun, aap unke personal advisor the?

Re: Terrorism Weekly The Bhutto Assassination: A Tough Case for Scotland Yard

You seem only to respond to certain parts of the post and leave the whole argument aside.

Firstly, President himself has confessed that cleaning the site was “incompetence”. Acknowledging that it shud not have been done.

Secondly, lot of people are skeptic of governments ability and motives of investigating the murder properly. Its in governments own interest to do independant inquiry that satisfies specially the Sindhis. IF they have nothing to hide why shy away.

Thirdly, why do not even know what really killed her. Bullet, lever, bomb, sharpnel. All people get are funny stories that keep changing every day.

And lastly, its not a few people on GS that “made up” this thing that area shud have been secured. We are just saying what the world media has been saying all along
