Indian Mujahideen prime suspect in Pune blast
New Delhi: Terror group Indian Mujahideen is emerging as the key suspect in the Pune bomb blast case.
Investigating agencies are looking at Indian Mujahideen’s links with Karachi-based Lashkar-e-Toiba and its front organisation Jamaat-ud Dawa.
The group’s Maharashtra wing leaders are also being tracked to unravel the blast links.
The blast in Pune’s German Bakery on Saturday evening that killed nine people is similar to Varanasi, Hyderabad and Delhi blasts.
The link with the Indian Mujahideen has also got stronger with the clues retrieved from the blast site at German bakery so far.
Sources have confirmed that the explosives used in the Pune blast were a mixture of ammonium nitrate and RDX.
Ammonium Nitrate was one of the key components used in the Delhi serial blasts, also believed to be the handiwork of the Indian Mujahideen.
The technique of packing explosives and keeping it in a bag and leaving it unattended is also similar to the one used for Delhi serial blasts.
All major cities including Delhi, Indore and Kanpur have been put on high alert.
Delhi, Indore and Kanpur are the cities mentioned by Jamaat-ud Dawa deputy chief as terror targets.
The Pune blast came 10 days after the Lashker’s front organisation Jamaat-ud Dawa warned that the city could be targeted.

“By denying Pakistan water, India has ensured that every farmer in Punjab is lining up, ready to overrun India. At one time, jihadis were interested only in Kashmir, but the water issue has ensured Delhi, Pune and Kanpur are all fair targets,” Abdur Rehman Makki had warned.
Sources have told CNN-IBN that recently arrested Indian Mujahideen operative Shehzad Ahmed had shared information on terror modules based in Pune.
Indian Mujahideen has also been blamed for a string of bomb blasts in major Indian cities in 2008.
Evidence collected from the blast in Pune has the “trademark” of the Indian Mujahideen, intelligence sources say.
The group has built a strong network suspect across Maharashtra and is believed to have a module in Pune, they say.
The group is blamed for the serial blasts in Varanasi, Faizabad and Lucknow on November on November 23, 2007 that killed 13 people.
It is also blamed for the May 2008 serial bombing in Jaipur that killed 63 people.
The July 26, 2008 in Ahmedabad that killed 46 people was also the handiwork of the Indian Mujahideen

1) Shahid Azmi an attorney who represented Fahim Ansari ----- who was accused of helping to plan the Mumbai siege was whacked by three attackers within few hours of an announcement that he (Attorney) was sure that his client was innocent and he will not back off from finding the truth -----
2) The explosion came a day after India and Pakistan agreed to meet for high-level talks in New Delhi.
3) Trace of IED was found at the site of the blast.
4) The site of the blast German bakery restaurant, a favorite of Jewish and European visitors ----- I definitely smell the rat here ----- a favorite bakery of Jews ----- Pakistan a Muslim country ----- traces of IEDs found at the blast site ----- IED ----- Taliban ----- Pakistan ----- is someone trying to make Jews angry and want them to get involved in Pakistan.

**New Delhi: **An unknown Pakistan-based terror group, the Lashkar-e-Taiba Al Alami (LeT-international), on Tuesday claimed responsibility for the bombing in a Pune eatery which killed 10 people Saturday.
A person identifying himself as Abu Jindal, the spokesman of the group, called an Islamabad-based Indian journalist and claimed that they carried out the attack because of “two reasons”.
India’s “refusal” to discuss Kashmir in the forthcoming talks with Pakistan and New Delhi’s “alliance” with the US, the caller told the journalist.
“Joh bhi America ka ittehadi hoga, hum uskey khilaf jang ladengey, chahey woh India ho ya Pakistan (Be it India or Pakistan, we will fight against any ally of America).”
The person said he was calling from Miranshah in North Waziristan. The telephone number had an area code of Waziristan in the North-West Frontier Province in Pakistan, according to the scribe.
He said the group had split the Lashkar-e-Taiba because it took orders from Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence.
There were no more details about the group but the caller told the Indian scribe that the Pune attack was carried out with the help of its “sources” in India.
Ten people, including three foreigners, were killed and 60 injured in Saturday evening’s blast at Pune’s German Bakery, popular with youngsters and foreigners. The explosive was kept in a backpack under a table and went off when a waiter tried to open it.

It does not matter whether it is unknown or known group. All these groups have same agenda, to kill non muslilms, and to establish nizam-e-mustafa by hook or by crook.

More likely culprit in in Pune bombing is Afghanistan based Al Qaida Arabs. They are the ones who hold grudge against Pakistan and more importantly Pak army.
For these Jihadis, the best way to punish Pak is to get it threatened by an Indian attack. So the Pak army won’t be able to keep Pak army in the FATA area.
Qaida in Afghanistan has it good. These Jihadi Arabs are not safe in Yemen or Somalia because those Arabic speaking areas know these pigs. However non-Arab speaking Afghan/Pak sunnis are an easy prey for these Bidduins.
And right now Qaida is being squeezed between a hammer (Pak army) and anvil (NATO + US troops). They would love to reduce the pressure.
