The inside background on the people responsible for terrorist attacks in Pakistan:

The Harvest of Hate

[Suicide City](Suicide City)

I had a few years senior school mate in Pakistan, son of a army officer & a true brat who probably fit into the category listed above in one of the articles. He was always in trouble for many different reasons, in school, in the neighborhood; known for disrespecting people, girls in specific, up front in fights, failed in school, had a record of suspensions ... you get the idea.

As far as interests were concerned, he watched the typical movies, listened to music like any other teenager in Pakistan. Wasn't quiet athletic but did enjoy a smoke at the side of the cricket grounds. Generally rude, with a lingo filled with curses [a trend in teenagers anywhere I suppose] but helped people (his friends) here and there.

Anyway, after he failed his FSc exams & couldn't pass on subsequent tries, his Dad threw him out of the house. Some say, he ran away himself .. it's not really clear & I guess it doesn't matter. We didn't see him around & his Mom used to say he is visiting this relative or that. Suddenly after about two years he came back!!

He had grown his hair & his beard, always wore a half sleeve camouflage jacket & dark black sun glasses. He acted in all other aspects pretty much the same. Rumor has it that he had gone to Kashmir for ‘Jihad’. The friends & acquaintances were divided about him, some had a new found respect for him while others despised him. His Mom who was known to defend him previously & I have heard stories that after his return she would tell others how proud she was of her son. After a month or more of his return he vanished one more time.. either kicked out again by his Dad, or left on his own & rumor has it that he went to Afghanistan.

The above is around the years 1993 up till 1995ish. I moved & didn’t have contact with any of my friends that also knew him, so I don’t know what happened to him .. but something tells me, sooner or later I will see his picture in paper. I can’t recall his name but I am sure seeing him will kick back that memory too.

What goes around, comes around.

Those who train fanatics and give them guns to fight in the name of religion for "freedom struggles" will pay for their acts in kind.

No one can control maniacs.

serves them rite,,

You should teach a course on this at PMA Kakul to the officers.

The real world of course is the world that exists outside the propaganda being spouted by musharraf and his cohorts. After all who else could truthfully say that Musharraf is Sadar General Pervaiz Mussharraf :D
