There is a very good reason why polite manners dictate that you should never talk about religion at a dinner party, because there is no subject on earth as contentious as religion. Which is why you really have to hand it to Amy Berg for her 2006 documentary, *Deliver Us From Evil, *because, if there is one thing more controversial than religious debate, it’s tackling the accusations directed at the Catholic church of a conspiracy to conceal the abuse of thousands of children. So even though Deliver’s subject matter might not be what you would call a ‘fun night at the movies’, this film earned it’s own entry in Terrific Trailers because thanks to the trailer, even if you want to look away, you can’t.Filed under: Documentary, Fandom, Trailers and Clips
