Alright folks, let's talk about terms of endearment.
Sharmaiye mat, which ones do you like?
Which ones make you cringe?

Jaan, jaanu, jaaneman. Ugh... Thankfully, my wife doesn't speak a word of Urdu.
Also, there is no decency in PDA.

Awwww!!!
More like Bobbu Shona Bobby amirite..![]()
Also depends on the person using the term. Some people can people off baby and others sound paindu and shouldn't. My cousin's ex used to call her shehzaadiye. Yuck!
Dear: Don't like that one. It can sound condescending and fake.
Love/Luv: what's up with strangers like cashiers or coworkers who barely know you calling you love? You don't know me, so you can't love me. It's over the top unless unless you're Captain Jack Sparrow, lol.
People younger than you like teenaged cashiers calling you hon....feels weird.
Anyone brave enough to share what they do like or what they prefer to be called?
Jalebi Baby
Hey there! you know what I am fashion lover and I am crazy to buy the different fashion cloths. What you say about that??? share your craze with me.
Hello Alizy! I read your passion and i realy like it. I also like shopping and i am crazy for this. I like traveling with shopping and i think this is the right way for shopping and having a fun. By the way, what you say about this?
And did you also read the topic of the thread? Anniyay. ![]()
I just cant stand the word “Dear” or whichever the way it gets spelled. any word that starts from “sweet” is way overused rather overkilled and hence completely lost its charm.
In short the distinct usage, the better it is cuz then its somewhat unique.
I’m shamelessly all for PDA though ![]()
^ Yess, thats exactly the problem with the word sweetheart, heavily excessively used. I mean its livable if my aunts call me sweetheart but when the pharmacist or the lady at register in Costco call it, i'm like bus kardo.
Awww*
I’m so intrigued! I’d prefer any variation of ‘queen’ except queen itself. Super cheesy and my potential SO will never find out, but still ![]()
I don’t like any form of jaan except ‘jana’ which is slightly artificial / poetic but I find it cute anyway.
