Terminally ill inmates

Should they be released?

Should they be allowed to spend their last few days in their homes with their loved ones?

We’re ok with releasing prisoners when the prisons become over-crowded so why is it a big deal when terminally ill prisoners are released?

Re: Terminally ill inmates

i guess they should be released on humanitarian grounds...but then it depends, quite a few things should be considered as well...
the offence, the threat they could be...
some inmates who're terminally ill may still be in good condition ie they can walk and stuff...so they could be a threat to the society..

Re: Terminally ill inmates

No.

They should have thought about spending time with their families before they started committing crimes.

Re: Terminally ill inmates

cant they get their family to visit them for short durations same as they would if they were in a hospital except with prison guards and bars on windows

Re: Terminally ill inmates

Fry them. The moment you find out they are terminal. Saves money and frees up room for other criminals.

I'm sure the rapists and the murderers did not think about "humanity" before committing their crimes. They should be left to rot in jail.

Practical and simple :k:
